The full project guidelines are in the discord channel. Below is a quick synopsis:
Mapping Rules:
- Your map should have no more than 123 lines.
- Your map must be Vanilla compatible.
- Your map must end with a green colour, perferably with an evil eye.
- Your map must be able to be beaten with 100% kills/items/secrets.
- Final maps should have all difficulties. Uploading first version with only UV is fine.
- Your map should have all 4 multiplayer player starts.
Considerations:
- Arsinikk must be able to beat your map 100%.
- Your map should not exceed 10 minutes (ideal ~5 minutes).
- Don't just use ONLY stock Doom textures.
- Death pits are discouraged.
- Pay attention to the Vanilla Sprite Limit.
- Avoid excessive use of triangles in your map designs.
How to submit
Use the Upload page on this site! Submit your WAD containing a single map (Vanilla Doom 2) with a midi, and the site backend will incorporate the map into the complete project so far.
Ask the mod mappers in the discord cannel for a PIN to upload your map the first time, then with that PIN you can submit any further edits to your map as you like.
